We Invite you to
Walk with us

Burawa offers a series of short courses to help build your career confidence and skills. Wherever you are along your career path, we have something for you.

Burawa National Indigenous Careers Centre understands that to create sustainable community-led solutions we need to consider and share many voices, ideas, and experiences.

Our purpose is to enhance the information, advice, and support available to Indigenous adults across Australia, empowering them to choose successful pathways to education and fulfilling careers.

Would you like to be a part of our dream that every Indigenous Australian is supported to pursue the career of their dreams, where their culture is seen as a strength that shapes industries, workplaces, and the lives of others?

We Invite you

We are seeking community support to ensure Burawa becomes the main provider for Indigenous people to receive career counselling, guidance, professional development, and access to mentoring opportunities.

We invite you to WALK WITH US. We encourage and welcome individuals, corporates, and organisations to get involved and help us make a positive difference in the lives of Indigenous adults around Australia.

Ways to walk with us

Mentor

Mentors play an important role in supporting people as they move through their careers.

Being a mentor is an opportunity to share lessons, tips, and tricks for building a successful career.

Yarn With Us

Every story shared is a chance to make someone feel connected and understood, highlighting that they are not alone in their career journey.

We are looking to hear from people in Community who want to share their stories.

We would like to acknowledge Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waterways, and skies across Australia.

We pay our respects to our Elders past and present, thanking them for paving the way for us. We extend that respect to our emerging leaders, standing side by side with all Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders across our great nation.
